***More Lord of the lines info: if you are UNDER 19 the city of nanaimo is requiring a signed "Waiver and Release of Liabitity" form. You can pick the form up from Alternative Groove or email staff@alternativegroove.ca and ask for it and we can email you the file to print out at home and get signed by your parents. There will also be copies available at the contest as well, if your parent or guardian wants to fill it out there.

COME SKATE THE INDOOR at the Beban park Centennial building Feb 2 from 930 till 12. Entry by donation all procedds will be go to the Nanaimo skate park fund. There will be prizes, drinks , and fun.

Nazzy for Mayor?

Apparently Nazzy got the key to the city for his hat trick perforance against those Wild creeps...well I think he should have got the key to the city. 'Nucks have really turned their season around since we gave them that blogspot tongue lashing a few weeks ago. Plus I got a jersey which seems to be good luck, not that Im taking all the credit for their winning ways of late. Too bad they lost last night...

PS: its cold...and we have lots of warm jackets in right now!!!

Why are you reading this when you could be at Washington hiking that! Pryce is in whistler getting his early season shred on, Chippy is up hiking this (keep your eyes open for the kid hitting jumps and rails, but can't ride down the hill!), Blair and Josh are talking a lot about snowboarding, and Dana and Stacey will be up riding if they ever get a day off. In other words, were stoked about snowboarding, and you should be too!!!! GET IN THE SNOW!

For all who have rented/purchased the new animated movie "Surfs up!" I applaud you. For those who havent, its a must see. It's a tale about a penquin surfer whose from Shiverpool Antartica who finds the true essence of surfing while he is in Hawaii to compete in the Big Z memorial surf competition. This movie is TO THE MAX!. Dabbles in love, life, and belly load of laughter.

Cody maverick is the main dude and he is played by the dude from Transformers. Big Z is played by my man Jeff Bridges, Big Z's nemesis is Tank "THE TANK" Evans and his sweet song is sung by Oswald from the Drew Carey show and chicken joe voice is Jon Heder from Napoleon.
